Our Vision

The organized creation of beneficial change.

Imagine a world where problems are seen as opportunities rather than obstacles, where people communicate rather than condemn, where disagreements end in conversation rather than conflict, and where information builds bridges rather than biases.

That is what we imagine and that is why we are in the business of creating beneficial change.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission is to transfer knowledge and skills that significantly increase our course participants’ project management competencies, thereby enhancing their contributions to the goals of their organization.

We care about the community, our people, and responsible business practices because the values we hold, the decisions we make, and the services we provide can help build that better world.

Engaged Scholarship

Engaged scholarship is a participative form of research for obtaining the different perspectives of researchers, users, clients, sponsors, and practitioners in producing knowledge about complex problems.

The central mission of scholarship is to conduct research that both advances a scientific discipline and enlightens the practice of a profession.  But the gap between theory and practice remains an elusive ideal.

Engaging the different perspectives in the kind of knowledge that scholars and other stakeholders from diverse backgrounds can bring forth on a problem is more penetrating and insightful than when scholars or practitioners work on the problems alone.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility

All organizations have responsibilities to their members, their clients, and society. We believe a real commitment to corporate social responsibility unites an organization, strengthens its reputation, and creates vital links with the communities in which it operates. We concentrate our corporate social responsibility by our interactions with society into three distinct areas:

Impact of our operations of our business

It is our personal initiative to go beyond defined boundaries to consistently work with others to solve unexpected problems, look for opportunities, and challenge the status quo to create beneficial change.

Impact of research focused toward project management practitioners

Valuable areas of research include findings, frameworks, proven guides, and other tools. Ongoing research work with our client companies helps us understand the relevant issues they face and the importance of communicating effectively.

Impact of contributions by giving back to the local community

Our personal and professional contributions impact the local community and society in general by investing resources in activities to improve the well-being of others. They are actively involved in the local project management community by mentoring others in developing their project management competencies.

Corporate social responsibility is central to the way we run our business and in each of these areas we aim to make a positive contribution to society.
